Background
The sales team of an online furniture store advises customers through its website and several marketplaces. For every quote, staff opened many tabs to check prices, copied product details into a spreadsheet and kept customer notes somewhere else.
Challenge
- Save the product being viewed in a single click.
- Compare prices for the same product on the website and marketplaces.
- Take customer notes and send quotes without leaving the current page.
Solution
We built a Chrome and Edge extension on Manifest V3. On a product page, the popup shows the product code, stock and a price comparison. Staff add customer notes, export lists to Excel or send a quote right from the popup.
Data syncs to the store’s Google Sheets. The extension only runs on agreed websites and requests only the permissions it needs.
